Testimonials from Mary Kay Husbands
Peter Gamboian:
I have been in a Mary Kay family practically my entire life. So to ask me what the ‘Mary Kay Way’ is all about, I would simply say, “building others to achieve greatness". The people we come across in our daily lives can come from all walks-of-life with many different life experiences. Since we can't experience every life journey, Mary Kay stresses we build relationships with people that share similar experiences as well as other that journeyed down a completely different road. Of course the end result is to shape and mold those experiences into healthy and prosperous relationships. The relationships that Amie and I have shared in her business have been life changing. We get to expand our group of best friends every year by sharing Mary Kay's dream of enriching lives and making lasting memories. Mary Kay provides us the means of controlling and shaping our own destiny through healthy choices and financial independence. The eleven years of Amie's business have provided us a full spectrum of multiple starting points and fruit from great success. We have enjoyed the many pleasures of traveling to first class resorts, diamond star and cash prizes, as well as the famous pink Cadillac. Spending vacation time every year with our Mary Kay Corporate staff and top director friends provides us the drive to keep the dream alive.
But there is nothing that means more to us than the incredible 'Victory Unit' women that have made our life possible. As I watch the unit interact at seminar and events in Omaha, I couldn't be more proud of the women that you are today and the businesses you are building. You truly stand apart from other units and lead by example that Mary Kay would be proud to call her own.
Johnie Kamery:
When Buffi became pregnant with our oldest daughter 7 years ago she could not bring herself to go back to work. Her only goal was to be able to stay home and be with our children. Our daughter is now in kindergarten and the youngest is 2. When I leave for work in the morning they are going through their morning routine, breakfast and snuggling in the chair watching Mickey Mouse. Neither child has ever been to daycare. Neither child has ever been rushed out of the house at 6:30 in the morning in the cold because we are both going to work. God has blessed our family and provided that opportunity to work from home and set her own schedule through Mary Kay.
Buffi has also become a completely different person since beginning her career. She displays a confidence I had not seen in her prior to this career. She enjoys her work and the people she develops relationships with during her work. This career requires discipline, hard work, and drive just like any other but if you are willing to put in the time with God's blessings it can provide a life few other career paths can.
